Major Udaya Konarasinghe (Retd.) is an academician, researcher, and registered scientist, and founder of the Institute of Mathematics and Management of Sri Lanka. He specialises in research methodology, time series forecasting, econometrics, and statistical software applications (SPSS, MATLAB, MINITAB). He has published research in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to international conferences, and served as a track chair and reviewer for multiple academic forums. He has also received recognition for his work in economics, public policy, and education, including an Outstanding Paper Award. His research interests include forecasting models, applied statistics, epidemiology, and COVID-19 impact analysis.
